Einstein is often regarded as the father of modern physics and one of the most prolific intellects in human history
The Wright brothers, credited with inventing and building the world's first successful airplane and making the first controlled, powered and sustained heavier-than-air human flight
Alexander Graham Bell was an eminent scientist, inventor, engineer and innovator who is credited with inventing the first practical telephone
The music world seems to be where the talented artists have the most trouble coping with their success. Is it because we as the audience demand so much more? Do we put so much pressure on these artists to perform? They are in the public eye more so the pressure to perform and look good is extremely high.
Now back to my music. I found myself listening to Amy Winehouse..the latest posthumously : Lioness-Hidden Treasure. This CD is music at its best. I like to listen to: Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson all who have died because of addiction. There are a lot of singers to include Elvis Presley & Britney Spears who have endured the vast amount of pressure we put on them and have succumbed to addictions to keep producing their best.
My singers of choice at the moment are Adele, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna and James Blunt.
It is time for us to say enough is enough. It is time to refuse to buy music if the singer is pushed into addiction. Yes we want this talent but I feel we must take some of the responsibility. I am not saying they are exonerated from taking responsibility but I think we must stop demanding so much from them. This will probably never happen.I am sure there will be many out there who will be enraged with my putting Amy Winehouse in the same blog as Albert Einstein but I hope once you digest what I have written you will understand.
Imagine When… we accept people for who they are without any pressure being put on them to change or perform.
